Helplines

Please call one of the helplines listed below today if you are finding things tough.

It’s OK to need support. And I know it’s easy to think you don’t deserve extra help. You are amazing to get to where you are today, but nobody expects you to shoulder this alone. Nor should you have to.

The topics covered in this blog aren’t always easy to take in. It can bring back memories, it can make us realise that the behaviour of others have hurt us. It can be hard to read knowing someone you love also went through similar shit.

I’d have been lost without these organisations; they helped me so much in my darkest days. And trust me, the first phone call is always the scariest – but they will put you at ease instantly. These UK-based charities exist because of people like us needing support (Go here for help if you’re in Ireland). You are SO worthy of their time. It’s literally why they exist. Call them, you’ll be surprised how lighter you feel afterwards.

(You can also find some amazing resources like self-help guides, coping techniques and lots more on the Resources Page of this blog.)

PS. so proud of you x
